populus semi evergreen

This tall tree grows to a height of 20 metres, and width of 5 metres, and is considered semi evergreen. It has an uprightstance, with new Spring growth of copper-bronze changing to green in Summer.

It is often used as wind breaks and along driveways and can be suitable for stock fodder. It is tolerant to most soil types, air pollution and coastal conditions. It should be planted in well-drained soil in full sun. It can have an invasive root system, and is semi-resistant to poplar rust. This budded variety wont sucker.
